Applications & Registration

Preschool, Pre-K, Pre-K Enrichment and Barnabear  

To enroll your child for the coming school year, please read through the information below. Print this page and keep it, so you will remember important timelines. Please call the school for exact dates.  

1. An Open House will be held in late January in the classroom. Come meet the teachers and staff, and see the classroom!

 

2. Fill out the Application Form, and submit with a $100 non-refundable appplication fee to the church office or mail to Barb Boulware, Director & Registrar, St. Barnabas Day School, 1187 Wyatt Way, Bainbridge Island WA 98110.

  For current students, alumni families and members of St. Barnabas church, applications may be submitted in early to mid January. For students new to St. Barnabas Day School, applications are due late January – mid February.

  Enrollment will be determined by the following criteria: Priority will be given to current students, alumni families, and members of St. Barnabas Church. If the number of registrants exceeds space available, a lottery will be held.

3. You will hear from Barb Boulware, through email, by mid February if your child has been placed in a class.

4. Scholarships are available through the school. Please complete and submit the Scholarship Application by early June directly to the church office or mail to Barb Boulware, Director & Registrar, St. Barnabas Day School, 1187 Wyatt Way, Bainbridge Island WA 98110. Mark “confidential” on the envelope.

5. In August, you will receive a registration packet* by mail. Forms in this packet include contact, emergency, health and developmental information that we will use throughout the school year. The forms are due by mid August and are necessary for starting school.

6. A September tuition payment, is due the first day of school. This is the first of nine payments, September through May. Put payments in the gray tuition box, which can be found on the wall opposite the classroom door.
