Preparing for Winter at Chaplains on the Harbor

posted in: Uncategorized 0
As Fall and Winter approach the need for WARM Coats and Sleeping Bags is great at the Chaplains on the Harbor shelter in Westport (Grays Harbor County). The Outreach Committee is asking parishioners and their neighbors to search their closets for GENTLY USED coats and sleeping bags that are no longer needed or wanted. Bring your items to the front door of St. Barnabas Church where there will be two boxes with a Chaplains on the Harbor sign. Items from the boxes will be picked up every evening starting September 5th through October 3rd. The Rev. Sarah Monroe and the homeless population visiting the shelter thank the parishioners of St. Barnabas for their generosity.
