An Invitation from Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry to Practice the Way of Love
I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. – Ephesians 3:17-19
Join us as together we learn the Way of Love, practices for deepening our spiritual lives. Next Wednesday we’ll focus on authentic ways of communing with God through an exploration of the whys and the ways we PRAY. What is the purpose of prayer? What happens to me when I pray? What happens to the ones I pray for? What happens to God? Is walking the labyrinth a prayer? Is singing? Do I need the right words? Join us as we explore some of the myriad prayer forms available to us (in hopes of discovering our own most authentic ways to pray) and reflect on the importance of prayer in our lives.
