St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Seeks Full-Time Rector
The parishioners of St. Barnabas look forward to welcoming a full-time rector who will be both a shepherd and a partner in ministry, supporting us as we continue to grow into God’s Beloved Community.
We seek a rector who will preach the Gospel in ways that engage, challenge, and provide spiritual sustenance, while recognizing that traditional music is integral to our worship.
Our parish values outreach, social justice, and creation care, and we hope to welcome a rector who shares this passion. The strength and enthusiasm for these inward and outward facing ministries deepened during Covid and continues to shape parish life.
A compassionate rector who is skilled in personnel management, open to differing views, supportive of lay leadership, and has a joyous sense of humor will be an excellent fit.
St. Barnabas is debt-free and financially stable, with growing endowments, transparent financial stewardship, and many active and committed givers.
Full-time compensation and benefits are based on the grade of the congregation (St. Barnabas is a grade B congregation as of 2026) and the experience of the clergy-person. The salary range for 2026 is $110,057–$165,087. Clergy receive at least four weeks of paid vacation per year. St. Barnabas also offers paid sick leave which accrues at twelve days per year.
