Who are The Stewards of Creation at St. Barnabas?

God’s Creation is struggling with problems caused by a variety of things including rapid climate change, pollution, deforestation, overuse and misuse of fossil fuels, and excess Methane in the atmosphere. Our group meets to discuss the issues we face, as well as possible solutions (as individuals, as a church, and as a society). We read relevant articles and discuss them. Please join us to learn and to help find new ways to care for creation. The Stewards of Creation group meets on the first Monday of each month at 2:00 pm in the church library.

In the future, we plan to extend our scope to include issues of climate justice. We hope to discover other organizations with which we might collaborate.
