Dear Caterers and Renters, In light of the ongoing and changing circumstances of the spread of COVID-19, St. Barnabas Commercial Kitchen, under the direction of Bishop Rickel and the Diocese of Olympia, has put into place new protocols for use of the commercial kitchen. St. Barnabas wants to continue to support caterers in these ever changing times, but please be aware that situations are ever changing. Effective immediately, in order to keep the kitchen and users safe, the following protocols must be adhered to while using the kitchen. 1. One caterer/person in the kitchen at a time. No overlapping of caterers. No extra staff helping during scheduled time. 2. The kitchen calendar will be adjusted so that one hour will be scheduled between caterers shifts, if you want to use the kitchen on the same day. 3. The kitchen, bathroom, door knobs, and key pads must be sanitized, and ready for the next user, before leaving your shift. This means not only does the kitchen need to cleaned and sanitized in accordance to Kitsap Health Department guidelines, but also a bleach water solution must be used on ANY surfaces that you touch. This includes the key pad for retrieval of keys to the kitchen, back door knob of the kitchen inside and out, keys used for taking out trash, recycling and compost, door handles of any door used in the fellowship hall, and handles of the bathroom doors. 4. No pick up of food from any clients from the kitchen. If you are making food for clients, it will need to be delivered to them. 5. If you are making product that is to be sold to the public, it will need to be delivered. 6. If there are any outstanding keys to the kitchen, they need to be turned in to the office. All caterers will be using the key pad for entrance/exit to the kitchen. The keypad code has been changed. Please contact me directly for the code prior to your scheduled shift. I can meet anyone at the kitchen if you need to pick up supplies now or for the weekend. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CAN CHANGE AT ANY TIME! ST.
