Our teachers lead these children through an organized and fun–filled four hours of circle time, kindergarten–readiness activities, free play, art, and outdoor playtime. Children are introduced to the letters of the alphabet, writing their own names and counting in a multi–disciplinary, fun and pressure–free fashion throughout the year. This helps build confidence, and along with the social skills that are developed during each session, contributes to St. Barnabas Day School’s excellent reputation for sending well–prepared students on to kindergarten. Pre–K runs for four hours, three days a week; and includes a lunch time when students eat lunch brought from home. The maximum class size is 14.
Pre–Kindergarten 2026–27 Program Details:
Age: 4 to 6 years old.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. A daily snack is provided.
Annual Tuition: $4,000. Tuition is divided into ten installments; the enrollment deposit and nine monthly payments of $400.

There are no hidden fees, and all annual and one–time fees are listed above.
Tuition is set on an annual basis and may be paid in ten monthly installments, with the first of ten installments being due upon registration as an enrollment deposit. A 10% sibling discount that is applicable toward the enrollment deposit and tuition is applied to the second child in each family. Sibling discounts and scholarships are not applied toward registration fees, deposits, supply or snack fees. Sibling discounts are not applicable toward Barnabear tuition.
*While our goal is that children are independent at pottying before they start in Preschool or Pre-K; we know accidents happen at any age, especially when transitioning to a new routine at the start of the year. We will work with individual families to make sure their children feel confident and successful at school.
